Recently, the building and construction industry was facing quite a number of issues with the local authority. President of Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Tan Sri Dato' Tan Kok Ping has taken the initiative to meet with the Chief Minister to iron out the solutions to solve the issues. The meetings have brought fruitful result to both party and it has achieved a win-win situation. Both parties have also agreed that the meeting will be organized periodically in future to foster better working relationship between government and private sector.
