With the growing fear of terrorism, Malaysia under the "International Control List for Exports of Dual-Use items & Technology" has enacted the Malaysia Strategic Trade Act 2010 and will be enforced on exports of items that could be construed as dual-use (commercial and / or application to nuclear related) especially electronic-remote control gadgets. / products.

Exporters will require to register and follow strictly on "Export Control Compliance Management" under MITI once the Act is enforced.

Customs brokers, freight forwarders and logistics players will also be required to introduce "Effective Strategic Trade Management Systems" for handling the security delivery flow.
