青年经商团细则
 

青年经商团(青商团)
1. 名称
  1.1 槟州中华总商会简称为本会。
  1.2 槟州中华总商会董事会简称为董事会。
  1.3 槟州中华总商会执行董事会简称为执行董事会。
  1.4 槟州中华总商会青年经商团简称为青商团。
 
2. 宗旨
  2.1 吸引年轻一代加入,并培育成为本会会员及本会的接班人,以加强及壮大本会的组织,以便更有效的实现商会的既定目标。
  2.2 培育及提升青年华商创业知识及经商智慧,以应变社会经济的转型与提升生产力。
  2.3 促进经商网络,提升团员的事业基础。
 
3. 活动范围
  3.1 举办有关人际关系、交流会、工商管理知识、经验分享、生涯规划、就业辅导、政府对青年男女创业之援助与贷款计划等讲座或课程、参观重点工厂或公司、以及其他培育青商的活动。  
  3.2 举办团员各别的专长发表会,以及互相交流学习的活动。
 
4. 年龄限制
  4.1 青商团团员的年龄介于21至45岁之间的华裔青年男女《除在籍学生》。
 
5. 团员资格
  5.1 本会个人会员年龄介于21岁至45岁之间者将自动成为团员(不必再另行缴付青商团基金和年捐)。
  5.2 任何年龄介于21岁至45岁,并在槟城任职或经商之青年男女皆可申请成为团员。
  5.3 年龄满45岁的团员,其团员资格将继续保持有效直到下次召开的团员 大会为止。
  5.4 凡申请成为青商团团员者,须填妥申请书交到本会秘书处,以提呈执行董事会及董事会讨论及批准方得成为团员。
  5.5 若青商团团员违反青商团的规则,董事会拥有绝对权力终止其团员资格。
   
6. 费用
  6.1 青商团基金 RM50/=(一次性缴付)
  6.2 年捐  RM30/=(每年缴付)
  6.3 缴费日期      团员必须于每年6月30日或之前缴清该年年捐。
  6.3 凡拖欠年捐未在每年9月30日前缴交者,等于自动放弃团员资格,不再是商团团员。
 
7. 活动基金
  7.1 青商团可接受公众人士之捐款。
  7.2 青商团有权使用有关活动基金于青商团所推动的活动。
  7.3 有关活动基金交由本会财政保管
 
8. 青商团执委会
  8.1 顾问 -   商会会长
  8.2 团长 -   董事会委任
  8.3 副团长 -   一位《投选》
  8.4 秘书 -   一位《投选》
  8.5 副秘书 -   一位《投选》
  8.6 财政 -   一位《投选》
  8.7 查账 -   一位《投选》
  8.8 委员 -   五位《投选》
  8.9 青商团8.3 至8.8 的执委将在团长受委任后的一个月内(或由执行董事会所决定的其他日期)通过团员大会选出。
 
9. 青商团委员会任期
  与董事会相似。
 
10. 冻结活动 
  若青商团活动违反本会宗旨,董事会只要以三分之二的的多数票通过,就有绝对权力冻结一切活动。
 
11. 诠释和裁决
   本细则内之条文或有不尽完善及模糊之处,将交由本会董事会作出诠释和裁决,不得异议。
 
12. 修改
  在必要时,青商团可修改条规,惟必须经董事会通过方为有效。
     
     

PENANG CHINESE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Rules and Regulations of Young Entrepreneur Section
 

1. NAME
In these Rules:
  1.1 Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce is abbreviated to “Chamber”
  1.2 Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce General Committee is abbreviated to “General Committee”
  1.3 Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee is abbreviated to “Executive Committee”
  1.4 Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur Section is abbreviated to “Young Entrepreneur Section” 
 
2. OBJECTIVES
  2.1 To encourage the participation of the younger generation in strengthening the organization, and to motivate and empower them to become future leaders of the Chamber, in order to achieve the Chamber’s established objectives.
  2.2 To nurture the younger generation with entrepreneurial knowledge and businesses intelligence, and taking into cognizance of the shift in the socio-economic paradigm.
  2.3 To be a platform for business network.
 
3. TERMS OF REFERENCE
  3.1 To conduct public relations, interaction meeting, business management knowledge, sharing of experiences, career planning, career guidance, seminars or courses on grants and business loans provided by the government, factory or company visits, etc.   
  3.2 To hold forums for members talking about the fields or areas of their respective expertise as a learning platform.
 
4. AGE LIMIT
  4.1 Any Malaysian youth of Chinese origin between the ages of 21 to 45. [Except students]
 
5. MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS
  5.1 All individual members of the Chamber of ages 21 to 45 shall automatically become the members of Young Entrepreneur Section (they are not required to pay Young Entrepreneur Section Fund and Annual Subscription).
  5.2 Any male or female youth entrepreneur in business and profession or company executive working in Penang of ages 21 to 45 shall be eligible for membership in the Young Entrepreneur Section.
  5.3 Any member who attains 45 years old shall continue to be a valid member of the Section until the next General Meeting of the Section.
  5.4 Application for membership shall be submitted to the Chamber’s Secretariat for the deliberation and approval of Executive Committee and General Committee.
  5.5 Member who violates the rules and regulations of the Young Entrepreneurs Section, the General Committee shall have the absolute power to terminate his/her membership.
   
6. MEMBERSHIP FEES
  6.1 Young Entrepreneur Section Fund   RM 50/= (one-time payment)
Annual Subscription                       RM 30/= (annual payment)
  6.2 Date of Payment -  All annual subscriptions shall be paid on or before 30th June.
  6.3 Any member who fails to pay the annual subscription by 30th September shall automatically cease to be a member.
 
7. ACTIVITY FUND
  7.1 Young Entrepreneur Section may accept donations from the general public.
  7.2 Young Entrepreneur Section shall have the power to use the fund to promote activities.
  7.3 The Chamber Hon. Treasurer shall be in charge of the Fund.
 
8. COMMITTEE MEMBERS
  8.2 Chairman Appointed by General Committee
  8.3 Vice-Chairman By election
  8.4 Secretary By election
  8.5 Deputy Secretary By election
  8.6 Treasurer By election
  8.7 Auditor By election
  8.8 Five (5) Members By election
  8.9

 

The election of the Committee Members under 8.3 to 8.8 above shall be held within a period of one (1) month after the Chairman has been appointed or at any other date decided by the Executive Committee of the Chamber.
 
9. TENURE OF YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR COMMITTEE MEMBERS
  The tenure of Committee Members shall be coincided with the term of General Committee Members of the Chamber.
 
10. ACTIVITY FREEZE
  If the Young Entrepreneur Section activity contravenes the objectives of the Chamber, the General Committee shall have the absolute power to freeze all activities of the Young Entrepreneur Section with a two-thirds (2/3) vote of those in attendance at the meeting.
 
11. INTERPRETATION OF GENERAL COMMITTEE
  Any ambiguity in the application and interpretation of these Rules shall be forwarded to the General Committee for interpretation and decision which shall be final.
 
12. AMENDMENT
  The Committee shall have the right to amend the rules and regulations if necessary. Any amendments shall only take effect after being passed by the General Committee.
